Lies... lies... lies! It seems that it's becoming harder and harder to take what someone is saying at face value. It's sad really. One would expect that if he/she heard something negative about someone he/she knows, that person would say "No way! He/She is not like that!" Instead, you hear "Shows you really don't know someone..."
So what about people you just met?!?
I know. I've been in contact with tons of people who are not what they appear to be. It's ok if we are just talking about small white lies here... but no, I have experienced coming into contact with seemingly nice people who I discover later on to be downright crooks!
